UK Flights Grounded for Second Day due to Volcanic Ash

NATS have advised that the restrictions will remain in place until 1am at the earliest Saturday morning. It has been announced that a small number of services will have permission to fly to and from Northern Ireland and Western Scotland today. Genesis Forwarding Services in Glasgow has advised airports in Scotland are still currently closed and updates will be posted onto the website once confirmation of open airspace has been received. It is estimated that Scottish airspace may be able to accept domestic flights from 7pm tonight.
