UK Airspace has Resumed Operation

06/05/2010
UK Airspace has now re-opened due to the cloud of volcanic ash which disrupted UK airspace yesterday causing Northern Ireland, Western Scotland and far South-West England flights to be grounded.

The National Air Traffic Services advised that the ash plume moved West overnight and has now cleared UK airspace for flights to resume operation.

Nats are working closely with the Met Office and with the Civil Aviation Authority who are responsible for imposing no-fly zones.

Genesis will continue to keep customers updated should any further delays occur. If you require any further information please contact your local office.
