Director's Son's strike secures Coca Cola League 1 Play-off Spot

07/05/2009
Genesis Forwarding Services Managing Director; Ken Howell, was celebrating this week, after son; Luke, secured his first professional goal for Milton Keynes Dons, to secure them a place in the Football League Division 1 Play-offs.

The goal came in the 85th minute versus Hereford United, and was a deserved climax to an exciting season.  Roberto Di Matteo; Manager of MK Dons announced it was a wonderful movement from the Team for the goal and Luke Howell deserved it; he played well.  The Don’s needed the one point from the game to secure third spot in League 1, and as a result will meet Scunthorpe United in the semi finals.  Everyone at Genesis would like to wish Luke all the best for the play offs and possible championship football next season.
