18 Tonnes of Critical Components Uplifted

Genesis Forwarding Services Oil & Gas Division in Aberdeen were called into action this week to arrange the chartering of an aircraft to uplift 18 tonnes of critical components for the Central Azerbaijan Platform which was on "shut down".
 

The complete operation, including export packing and crating was accomplished for the customer in under 36 hours. The project involved collating material from multiple vendors throughout the UK, transportation to Prestwick airport and loading onto a AN12 freighter aircraft whcih was flown into Baku airport.
