10 + 2 Security Filing Program

17/02/2009
From the 26th January 2009, US Customs and Border Protection now requires importers to provide additional information 24 hours prior to vessel loading.

Customs will use this to enhance ocean cargo screening procedures to further security initiatives.

Importers are being requested to submit 10 additional pieces of information which will be matched against the carriers manifest to allow cargo to be loaded or not loaded for movement to the US.

Please see 10+2 security filing program for more information.
